A prompt to begin

An opening prompt for anyone who wants to write alongside us on the loom.

Consider the word Unfinished. What does it mean to you?

Start with a blank page, whether writing by hand or on a computer. Set a timer for ten minutes. Write continuously for the full ten minutes. Don't take your pen off the page, your fingers off the keyboard. Let the writing go wherever it goes. Don't worry about whether you are following the prompt. Don't worry about weaving a coherent thread. Let your hands speed ahead of your mind. If you get tired, write about that. Writing about not knowing what to write. The key thing is to keep writing.
